No Power, No Problem!
Marguerite E. Peaslee Elementary School
A Vibrant Student Centered Learning Community

Dear Peaslee Families and Caregivers,

On Friday, our school experienced an unexpected power outage that began just after 11:00 a.m. While this event was unusual and longer than anticipated, everyone dealt with it with incredible positivity and perseverance. It was wonderful to see everyone working together, supporting one another, and making the best of a challenging situation. I am so proud of everyone’s flexibility, teamwork, and perseverance as we navigated the afternoon together. The calm, collaborative efforts of both students and staff allowed us to move through the day smoothly, and I am extremely proud of our students and staff. I am happy to share that power has been restored, and we look forward to seeing our students and staff at Peaslee tomorrow!

We do have a full day on Monday, and an early dismissal (12:05 pm) on Tuesday. Please remember to complete the Dismissal Planning Form (https://forms.gle/bnLkmkrEpDvRCNMq8) to let us know if you have a different plan than on a typical Tuesday so that we can ensure a smooth dismissal for all students. Also, NEDP will be closed on Tuesday afternoon.

Don't Fo
rget that we have a COZY PAJAMAS SPIRIT DAY on Tuesday. Please consider donating to the Student Council's Northborough Food Pantry Drive

As we welcome 2026, I am deeply grateful for our wonderful community. We wish all families a joyful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year.
Best wishes for a great week ahead!

Dr. Mary Coakley, Principal

GRADE 4 COOKIES AND COCOA CELEBRATION

Congratulations to our fourth graders for their terrific performances during the Cookies and Cocoa events! Their hard work, practice, enthusiasm, and talents were truly center stage, and they made the celebration extra special. We also greatly appreciate all of the families who came out to support our students and who generously baked and shared such delicious treats. A special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Whalen, Mrs. Greenspan, Mrs. Griffin, and Mrs. Kement for their support in planning this wonderful event.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND GENEROSITY

Thank you to the Peaslee Grade 5 Student Council all of the families who generously donated to the Matt’s Lego Drive in partnership with Why Me and Sherry’s House. Your support of this Kindness Club Project helped make it a wonderful success, and your donations will bring creativity, joy, and smiles to many children facing a health crisis. We truly appreciate your generosity and the spirit of giving shown by our school community.
