A Vibrant Student Centered Learning Community

Dear Peaslee Families and Caregivers,

We are pleased to share your child’s Term 1 report card with you. The report card communicates your child’s achievement based on end-of-year standards in all subject areas. The mid-year report card communicates progress toward the grade-level standards expected by the end-of-year.  It is not expected that students will reach end-of-year benchmarks by mid-year.

We believe that children are constantly growing and changing, and we strive to instill in each one a belief in themselves without setting limits.  We work together to assist our students in developing a growth mindset, and encouraging each student to continue to do their best.  We believe a report card is an essential tool for educators and parent(s)/guardian(s), as it supports two-way communication between home and school.

Report cards will be sent electronically today. Thank you for taking the time to review your child’s Term 1 report card.  If you have not signed up to receive your child's report card, see the Parent Square directions below. For your planning purposes, our spring parent/teacher conferences will be held on Tuesday, March 12. We have an early release at 12:05 pm. The conference time is 12:05 pm Conferences 1:00-3:00 pm & 5:30-7:30 pm.

Ongoing communication and dialogue between home and school are essential to ensuring that all students are reaching their potential.  As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or myself.

We Best wishes for a great weekend and week ahead! Stay warm! Please consider participating in these upcoming event this week!
