Hello Students, Parents, and Caregivers,
To help your family plan ahead, I’ve included a few announcements and several important dates for the school year. I’ve also added some fond memories from the end of last year for you all to enjoy!
We can't wait to see our Pandas back in the building and start making new memories together! I will be sending a weekly newsletter titled the Panda Post beginning on August 17th.

WELCOME NEW STUDENTS, CAREGIVERS, AND FAMILIES
Help your child feel right at home! On August 31st at 2:00 PM, teachers and staff will welcome new students in grades 1–5 in the main lobby for our annual school tour. This special tradition offers new students and families the opportunity to explore the building, meet our staff, and build connections before the first day of school. Please email Mrs. Ferrante at kferrante@nsboro.k12.ma.us to let us know if you are planning to attend. We are very excited to meet all of you!
KINDERGARTEN PANDAS AND POPS MEET AND GREET
Our youngest PANDAS are invited to attend the Peaslee Panda and Pops meet-and-greet on August 31st at 1:00 PM. New K students will gather out back near the playground to review some key information from Mrs. Brooks and Mrs. Cahill about the year ahead before they begin school. Students are invited to bring their school supplies on August 31st to reduce the amount of items they need to carry on the first day of school. After the brief presentation, Kindergarteners will tour the classrooms while our nurse, Ms. Glau, and the principal will join the parents to share announcements and to answer questions. meet. Ice pops and pandas will be shared. Let us know if you have any additional dietary needs not included in your child's physical before August 31st.
NOTES FROM THE NURSE
Medications, doctor's orders, or health action plans can be dropped off to Ms. Glau Barcelos, our school nurse, from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM on August 27, 2025. If this is not convenient for you, please email Ms. Glau at @nsboro.k12.ma.us. Kindergarten students and incoming fourth-graders are required to have physicals to be eligible to begin school. Physicals must be within a year of each other for students to be eligible to begin school on September 1st. You may drop off a copy or email Nurse Glau.
CLASS PLACEMENTS
Class placements will be sent via ParentSquare email on August 19th at 3:00 pm. Everyone will receive this notification from their teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Letters of introduction from your child's new teacher will arrive soon after this notification. Please contact Mrs. Ferrante (kferrante@nsboro.k12.ma.us) if you did not receive the message information.
IMPORTANT LINKS ON THE PEASLEE WEBSITE- Updated
Our school webpage offers a variety of resources and links. We hope that these links will be helpful for you and your child as you return to school at the end of the month. The links include school supply lists, a monthly breakfast-and-lunch calendar, and school hours. Additional resources will be added throughout the year. Be sure to take a look! f you ordered an EPI Kit, they will be delivered to your child's classroom before the first day of school.

1. Class Placements will be published and sent on Wednesday, 8/19/26; the previous date was 8/17/26. We apologize for the delay in this information.
2. The Peaslee Website has been updated and now includes this year's Supply Lists. If you ordered an EPI Kit, they will be delivered to your child's classroom before the first day of school.
